SSHRC launches 2023 Storytellers Challenge
We are excited to announce that SSHRC’s 10th edition of the Storytellers Challenge is now open. Share your most creative and effective storytelling submission for your chance to receive $3,000 and enhance your research communication skills!
The annual Storytellers Challenge challenges postsecondary students from across Canada to tell the story—in up to 300 words or three minutes—of how SSHRC-funded research is actively making a difference in the day-to-day lives of Canadians. These stories help Canadians better understand how social sciences and humanities research is changing our world for the better.
Be creative! Your story can be an article, a poem, a song, an infographic, a video or whatever short-form format is within the rules. Get inspired by viewing top submissions from 2013 to 2021 at the Storytellers gallery.
The deadline to submit your story is Monday, January 30, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. (eastern).
